A NOTE ON SOME OF MY BACKSTAGE GIGS & testimonials
CRUE FEST
What a different experience when the stage is already there permanently, my works' focus was on Godsmack- mainly Sully Erna(lead singer) and Robbie Merrill (bass guitarist). Wow!- 2 truely amazing guys! We talked bout working out and dirt bikes and typical band stories and of course we talked about how they loved their kick ass massage from ME! I got to talk to Soffie, while i massaged her, bout her career as a dancer for Motley Crue. I met Mick Mars. Found out the latest dirt on motley crue from Nikki Sixx's bus driver. Backstage at CRUE FEST wasn't what i expected - everyone was very serious, not hammered out of their minds...but after all it is hard work and they understand how important massage is to their performance. They really beat themselves up running and head-banging all over the stage in 90 degree heat, show after show day after day. I wouldn't have traded this experience for the world! can it get any more awesome than massaging your favorite rock stars, hanging with them, eating their food, making killer $, and then rocking out to them in the front row? Hell NO!
WWE
My massage expertise has led me on yet another amazing journey. This time to the WWE Wrestlers. This one was even more fun than the concerts! The evening started with Mike Chioda, one of the referees, talking production out of their choice to have me set up in the locker room, where drug testing was going on. After finding my new location, beside the seamstress and make-up, I had dinner. THE BEST food I've ever had (and BEST choco cake) in my life. Followed by a massage on THE BIGGEST guy I've ever met- Mark Henry (the former "World's Strongest Man") all 415lbs of him. Thankfully, the table didn't break and he LOVED my massage. After Mark, I worked on the Bad-Guy Sheamus, the gorgous Englishman William Regal and a few x-wrestlers, now TV announcers and producers. When I was finished with the massages for the evening, I hung out w the wrestlers watching the show from the monitors. We had a blast, I even got a mini massage myself from Mark, who had hands as big as my back! What an entertaining and fun group these guys were! I'm sure I'll be seeing them again soon, considering they all loved me and I already got a call from Chris asking me to come back!!!
COUNTRY THROWDOWN
Just when I thought massaging wrestlers and rockers was hard work, yet another demanding door opened.... Country Throw Down, May 29, 2010. Arrival time for me, 3pm, departure time, midnight. Holy smokes I didn't know I could massage so many people in one night! And I thought the wrestlers had problems, they were a close toss up with the hectic production crew and the musicians, especially drummers (ever play drums? You use literally every muscle in your body)! I don't think anyone realizes what has to happen backstage for a concert to go on. All of these people truly are busting their butts to make these tours a success. Talk about STRESS! People aren't runnin’ around hammered with trashy girls hangin around, it's all day of all work!! They get to the venue, set up, play, tear down, get back in the bus and drive to the next city for the next show the very next night. Over half of the people I massaged fell asleep right on my table, they'r exhausted. It’s truly amazing what they all do! Anyways, once again everyone was so friendly and generous! Great time, great pics (My pic even made it onto the Montgomery Gentry website), great food, amazing money, and unforgettable memories!.....

the ski instructor
I have struggled with some chronic neck and shoulder issues for years and Amanda's therapy has been some of the most helpful treatment that I have found. But this past winter, Amanda's skills were put to the test when this 40-something, out-of-shape Mom took on full-time ski instructing - 2 to 7-year-olds, no less. There were days when I felt I needed to CRAWL in for my massage appointments, with too many ailments to even explain. But of course, she knew exactly what to do! The ill-effects on my weary muscles of three-hour daily intense workouts in sub-zero temps were no match for Amanda's amazing therapeutic techniques. After every session, I would leave feeling like a totally new person... recharged, renewed, refreshed. My joint mobility returned and the pain disappeared. Thank you Amanda, for keeping me in action and feeling great all winter! I highly recommend Amanda's services - whether you just need a short relaxing session or a total muscle overhaul - you'll be happy you did!
